The Covered Wagon Ranch is located just three miles from the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park on Route 191, in the Gallatin National Forest, at the confluence of the Taylor's Fork and Gallatin Rivers. Nearby cities are West Yellowstone, about thirty miles south; Big Sky, Montana, about twelve miles north; and Bozeman, Montana, about fifty miles northeast. You can fly into the airport in Bozeman with daily service by most major airlines from several major hubs, smaller partner airlines and excellent private aircraft services as well. West Yellowstone has a seasonal airport with commercial and private access. Both airports have national car agencies, and it is strongly suggested to rent a car if you plan to do sightseeing or fishing. Shuttle service is offered to and from the airports with advanced notice.
